The behaviour and characteristics of the dynamic DET model is studied in the context of the semi automatic spatio-temporal segmentation of the left ventricle myocardium in cine-MR images. The segmentation accuracy for endo/epicardium contours at end-diastole and end-systole, and as consequence the performance and limits of the current implementation, is evaluated in the context of the MICCAI LV Segmentation Challenge on a database of 15 multi-slice cine-MRI examinations.","license":"You are licensing your work to Kitware Inc. under the\nCreative Commons Attribution License Version 3.0.\n\nKitware Inc. agrees to the following:\n\nKitware is free\n * to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work\n * to make derivative works\n * to make commercial use of the work\n\nUnder the following conditions:\n\\\"by Attribution\\\" - Kitware must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor.\n\n * For any reuse or distribution, they must make clear to others the license terms of this work.\n * Any of these conditions can be waived if they get permission from the copyright holder.\n\nYour fair use and other rights are in no way affected by the above.\n\nThis is a human-readable summary of the Legal Code (the full license) available at\nhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/legalcode","keywords":["Segmentation evaluation","Spatio-temporal segmentation","cardiac image segmentation"],"authors":[{"name":"Casta, Christopher","affiliations":[]},{"name":"Clarysse, Patrick","email":"patrick.clarysse@creatis.insa-lyon.fr","affiliations":["Université de Lyon, CREATIS ; CNRS UMR5220 ; Inserm U630 ; INSA-Lyon ; Université Lyon 1, France."],"corresponding":true},{"name":"Schaerer, Joël","email":"joelthelion@laposte.net","affiliations":[]},{"name":"Pousin, Jérome","affiliations":[]}],"date_submitted":"2009-07-15 13:42:53","external_publication_id":657,"revision_cids":["bafkreih6irpst64da3mzwr2cicyehskw74k4caftqjnhve4bwvqu5zzxfq"]},"mdast":{"type":"root"},"downloads":[{"url":"https://ipfs.desci.com/ipfs/bafkreifwhqaenec4vkby26eoloas3fjcqh7apgloqljpzkwazkj4jjt4ra","title":"root/insight-journal-metadata.json","filename":"insight-journal-metadata.json","extra":{"size_bytes":5421,"type":"file"}},{"url":"https://dweb.link/ipfs/bafkreifplby4s4pzkyewwos3sjc6hjb5qd3ocdrepxkoxteho466fhuklq","title":"root/article.pdf","filename":"article.pdf","extra":{"size_bytes":535790,"type":"file"}}],"references":{"cite":{"order":["ref1","ref2","ref3","ref4","ref5","ref6","ref7"]},"data":{"ref1":{"label":"ref1","enumerator":"1","url":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ispa.2001.938636","html":"A FEM-based deformable model for the 3D segmentation and tracking of the heart in cardiac MRI”+in Proceedings of ISPA+2001+250+254+Q.
