This delay is\r\nquite noticeable during applications such as human-machine\r\ninterface. This document describes a contribution to the Insight\r\nToolkit ITK www.itk.org, which implements what we call an\r\nitk::EllipseBoundaryToImageFilter. This is a derived from\r\nSpatialObjectToImageFilter. It marks the output image by setting\r\nthe pixels along the boundary of the input ellipse to the\r\nInsideValue and the OutsideValue elsewhere. This filter is fast\r\nbecause it traverses the boundary only.
